Shengnan Hu grew up in a musical family in Xuzhou/China. Their
She received her first piano lessons at the age of four. From the age of ten

From 1996-2002 she was a junior drummer at The Middle School
in cooperation with the "Central Conservatory of Music" in Beijing. In 2002 sat
Shengnan Hu completed her bachelor's degree with Prof. Gerald Fromme and Prof.
Ulrike Stadler continued at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and graduated
in 2006 with distinction. In the same year, Hu received the scholarship “The
highest award of Austria”. In 2011 she completed her concert exam as
Student at the Academy of Music Hanns Eisler Berlin with Professor Li Biao, Rainer
Seegers and Franz Schindlbeck – also with distinction. From 2011 to 2013 was
she is a master student with Peter Sadlo at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. In 2009, Hu received this
NaFöG grant from the Berlin University of the Arts.
In 2007, Shengnan Hu won first prize in the Bertold Hummel Competition
