Academy for Music Berlin
Lessons at the academy are conducted by accredited, internationally renowned lecturers and can be taken in the key subjects of keyboard instruments, orchestral instruments, singing and composition.From pre-study to bachelor's degree to master's degree and soloist diploma, we offer an education that prepares our students in their respective field for a professional future at an international level.

The entrance exams for our bachelor's and master's programs can take place at any time. Please contact the AfM-Berlin secretariat to arrange individual examination dates for the respective main subjects.
We point out that applicants who at the time of registration not yet reached language level B2
can only be conditionally admitted to the course after successful enrollment and must provide the relevant proof within the first 12 months.
1. Prospective students can apply to us at any time. The following conditions must be met:
- Complete video lectures of at least 3 pieces of music.
- Styles: Baroque and Viennese Classic and Contemporary
- The video lectures must have been created during a public concert or a lecture evening (no private video lectures).
- The video lectures can be uploaded via a video portal such as Youtube or Youku, or sent to us by email (only with a download link).
- The video lectures may not be cut or edited.
2. The following exams and documents must be submitted to the secretariat:
- completedRegistration form from the AfM
- completed registration form
from Kalaidos University
- Passport copy
- theory exam
- CV
- Motivation letter
- school degrees
- Proof of payment of the application fee
- For applicants from the People's Republic of China, NO APS is required by the German embassy
College registration procedures and materials:
- An application form to be filled out in German or EnglishApplication form download
- photocopy of passport
- Copy of German household registration (only for students who have already lived in Germany)
- A CV in German or English
- Motivation letter ( Motivationsschreiben )
- For performance/singing videos, the effect is required to be clear, no editing or post-processing is allowed. (See below for detailed requirements)
- Receipt for remittance of the registration fee (250 EUR). If a student is accepted, the registration fee will be calculated into the overall tuition fee.
- Due to the nature of the institute's Swiss diploma, the German embassyunnecessaryAPS audit certificate or audit-free certificate is issued when the student visa is issued.

Video Recording Instructions:
Play/sing several works, with no limit to the repertoire and style, no longer than 20 minutes. An audience is required for the performance, and the Jazz/Pop major requires at least two popular or jazz standard instrument accompaniments, one of which is designated by the school. Candidates for the education track are required to submit an unedited instructional video. The details of the admissions examination may change at any time, please contact the secretariat/examination committee for details of the examination content.
