As a sought-after soloist, Manaev has performed with renowned orchestras around the world and in prestigious concert halls such as the Berlin Philharmonie, Tonhalle Zurich, Philharmonie Cologne, Gasteig Munich, Konzerthaus Berlin, Laeiszhalle Hamburg, Auditorio Nacional de Madrid, Alte Oper Frankfurt, and Beethoven-Haus Bonn. In 2022, he performed as a soloist the double concerto "Garden of Animas" by Gordon Hamilton with the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra at the Tonhalle Düsseldorf.
In addition to his successful solo career, Manaev also serves as the artistic director of the Romberg Festival at Schloss Harkotten near Osnabrück and the "Fürstenwalder Musikzyklus" in Fürstenwalde. Konstantin Manaev plays a valuable cello by Johannes Theodorus Cuypers from 1762, which complements his impressive artistic performance on stage.
