Konstantin Manaev is a renowned cellist who has gained international recognition through his versatile career and numerous accolades. His awards include nominations for the Opus Klassik and the International Classical Music Award for his albums "Love Stories" with pianist Danae Dörken and "The Songs of our Neighbours" with violinist Julia Smirnova. In addition, he has released two recordings on the GWK Records label: Three Cello Concertos by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and the album "OYAN" featuring works by Azerbaijani composer Franghiz Ali-Zadeh, which have been praised by the international press.




As a sought-after soloist, Manaev has performed with renowned orchestras around the world and in prestigious concert halls such as the Berlin Philharmonie, Tonhalle Zurich, Philharmonie Cologne, Gasteig Munich, Konzerthaus Berlin, Laeiszhalle Hamburg, Auditorio Nacional de Madrid, Alte Oper Frankfurt, and Beethoven-Haus Bonn. In 2022, he performed as a soloist the double concerto "Garden of Animas" by Gordon Hamilton with the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra at the Tonhalle Düsseldorf.

In addition to his successful solo career, Manaev also serves as the artistic director of the Romberg Festival at Schloss Harkotten near Osnabrück and the "Fürstenwalder Musikzyklus" in Fürstenwalde. Konstantin Manaev plays a valuable cello by Johannes Theodorus Cuypers from 1762, which complements his impressive artistic performance on stage.
