Prof. Hartmut Fladt Musicology


Hartmut Fladt, born in 1945, from Detmold, studied composition / composition (Rudolf Kelterborn), then musicology in Berlin;
1973 PhD at Carl Dahlhaus. Editor of the Richard Wagner Complete Edition (4 volumes); since 1981 professor (music theory) at the University of Arts Berlin, 1996-2000 also at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

2011 Habilitation Musicology. Retired since 2014/15; now teaches as a lecturer and lecturer.
On the board of the Eisler Society, in the Edition Advisory Board of the Hanns Eisler Complete Edition.

Approximately 90 publications on music of the 13th - 21st century. Reviews (The Music Research, Music Theory, New Journal of Music / Melos, Musica, ÖMZ, Music and Education, Analysis, Journal of the Society for Music Theory, Music & Aesthetics, Austrian Musicology Journal). Regular radio and television contributions also feature popular music and its mediation. Approximately 130 booklet texts, primarily for the Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft. Composed stage works, ballet, chamber music, choral music, electroacoustic music, songs, orchestral works, "applied music", including film music. Karl Hofer Prize Berlin 1985, Carl Orff Prize 1995 at the European Opera Competition Munich.
